My name is Christian Maloney, son of Annie & Matt Maloney. I started working alongside my parents shortly after becoming a licensed agent in 2018. Additionally, I graduated from East Tennessee State University at the end of 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Despite all of this, I was still entirely unsure about the career path I wanted to pursue going into 2020. That’s when I officially began to work much more consistently in real estate while trying to make a plan for my future. Unfortunately, that’s also around the time COVID-19 started to make headlines. The beginning of the pandemic resulted in much less time spent with clients in-person which in turn forced me to become very familiar with all the processes and paperwork that takes place behind the scenes. I’ve definitely come to prefer that aspect of this profession and love to keep everything neat and organized in order to make things as enjoyable and seamless as possible for everyone around me. Sadly, Annie passed away from cancer in August of 2021. This turned our world upside down and left all of us wondering so many things. One of those things was how can we carry on the legacy of what Annie created and began to build over a decade ago. Anyone that ever worked with Annie knows that she was one of the best at her job and did everything with the utmost professionalism and an awesome attitude. I’m thankful that all the attributes and qualities she possessed which made her a great agent are the reason why she was also such an amazing Mother. There will never be another Annie Maloney but all of us here on The Maloney Team are dedicated to continuing what she started and offering the same or better service to all.
